Inspired by a heritage W.J. Sanders piece depicting a Thylacine mounted on malachite, the Cassowary continues a tradition of reimagining Australia’s distinctive wildlife in precious metals and semi-precious stone.

Crafted in sterling silver, the cassowary features black ruthenium, red gold rhodinette, palladium and blue ceramic patination, bringing depth and colour to its sculptural form. Two 1mm diamond eyes provide a refined finishing touch.

Mounted on ruby in zoisite and supported by sterling silver ball feet, the piece is a distinctive addition to an interior or collection, celebrating Australia’s unique natural heritage through meticulous craftsmanship.
